Our volunteers help us create long lasting changes for those we serve that are challenged with hunger, disease and a poor quality of life.
SEEING IS BELIEVING TOURS
We believe our donors are insightful, empathetic, and generous concerning the sustainable and effective work we’re doing in the underprivileged areas we serve. We believe the best way to combat poverty is to witness it with your own eyes – this in mind, we take our donors into the deep trenches of the various communities, believing they will be inspired to do more.
Educate A Child
Education is indicative to basic knowledge and awareness of life changing events; without some form of each, a cycle is created and ignorance is it's leader. Many children want to go to school but their parents cannot afford the tuition, let alone a pair of shoes. In a family where deciding if gari and moco - (ground hot pepper) or rice and stew will satisfy a family of five (5) for one day, then sending a child to school is not an option.
TUITION
Your kind donation of $150.00 will pay for one child to attend school.
UNIFORMS
Many students receive Free Public Education, however they must pay for their uniforms. Your kind donation of $25.00 pays for one uniform.
Boarding School
Boarding School is the best if not the only option for a child to obtain an education beyond Primary School. In rural communities, where the environment is not conducive to learning, Boarding Schools provides the structure needed for academic success.
YOUR DONATION
A donation of $250.00 will provide a Starter Kit that may consist of the following:
A) Student Size Mattress and a wooden trunk.
B) Two sheet sets and two towels.
C) Two Dresses and/or Trousers.
D) Two Pair of Shoes.
E) Two White Shirts.
F) Two Blue Shirts.
G) Two Pair of Sneakers,
H) Bucket, Mop and Broom.
I) Toiletries and Mosquito Repellant.
J) Milo, Lipton and Sugar.
